Hunter Tap Timers

The Hunter BTT is the simplest way to automate watering from any standard garden hose tap — no wiring, no electrician, no in-ground system required. Battery-powered and controlled via the free Hunter app on iOS or Android, it’s ideal for smaller areas such as veggie patches, pots and garden beds where running irrigation pipe isn’t practical.

Available in 1-outlet and 2-outlet versions, the BTT screws directly onto a standard 3/4″ BSP hose tap fitting. The 2-outlet version runs two zones on separate schedules, with both outlets sharing the same tap’s supply. You set your watering schedules in the app — days, times, duration — and it handles the rest. The Bluetooth range covers most standard backyard setups.

Hunter lists 27 L/min as the maximum flow at 340 kPa. Losses through your hose, fittings and pipe come on top of this. The full chart is here:
