Hunter MP Rotator nozzles are multi-stream rotating nozzles that retrofit directly into any Hunter pop-up spray body, replacing conventional spray nozzles. They apply water at a much lower precipitation rate than traditional sprays, which reduces runoff and allows water to soak into the soil rather than sitting on the surface. For best results use Hunter PRS bodies, which regulate pressure to 40psi — the optimal operating pressure for MP Rotators.
All MP Rotator models fit standard female-threaded Hunter spray bodies and most other brands using the industry-standard thread pattern.

MP Rotator vs Standard Spray Nozzles
Standard spray nozzles apply water at 40mm/hr or more. On sloped ground or clay soils common in Australia, water runs off the surface before it can be absorbed. MP Rotators apply water at 10mm/hr — slow enough for the soil to absorb it properly, which means less runoff, deeper root growth, and up to 30% water savings compared to conventional sprays.
Because all MP Rotator models share the same 10mm/hr precipitation rate, you can mix different radius models on the same zone and every area receives the same depth of water in the same run time.
