A Hunter spray bodies is two parts: the body, which is the pop-up that screws onto your poly pipe, and the nozzle, which decides the pattern and how far it throws. Buy them separately and you can match any shape of garden bed without changing the plumbing.

PS Ultra
Slim-line body, the straightforward choice for a home system. Two-piece ratchet so you can turn the nozzle to line up the arc after it’s in the ground. Takes any female-threaded nozzle.

Pro-Spray
The heavy-duty body. Co-moulded wiper seal stops leaks and stick-ups, and the cap stays sealed even after it’s been loosened a full turn — which matters where mowers and foot traffic work heads loose. Directional flush plug lets you clear debris out of the line during installation.

Pro-Spray PRS40
Same body with a pressure-regulating stem that holds the nozzle at 280 kPa no matter what the mains is doing. If your sprays are misting or fogging, the pressure is too high and this is the fix. It also stops you wearing nozzles out early.

Check valve versions
On a sloped block, water drains out of the lowest heads every time the system shuts off — you get a puddle at the bottom of the slope and a dry patch at the top. Bodies with a built-in check valve stop that. Worth it on any block with a fall across the zone.
Hunter Pro Adjustable Nozzles
We supply Pro Adjustable nozzles only. One nozzle covers every arc from 0° to 360°, so you set the pattern on site with a twist rather than working out which fixed part you need before you order.

Which Body Do I Need?
Three questions cover most situations:
- Is it a home garden or does it cop a hammering? Home lawn and beds — PS Ultra. Verge, school, commercial, anywhere mowers and feet get at it — Pro-Spray.
- Are your existing sprays misting or fogging? That’s high pressure. Go PRS40 and you’ll use less water and get better coverage.
- Does the zone sit on a slope? Choose the check valve version, or you’ll be draining the line through the bottom head every cycle.
