Hunter I40 Reclaimed Water

The reclaimed water version of the Hunter I-40 rotor, identified by its purple cap and rubber cover. Purple is the standard colour code for recycled and non-potable water, so anyone on site can see at a glance which lines aren’t drinking water.

The I-40 is Hunter’s large-area rotor, throwing roughly 12 to 21 metres, so it covers open turf with far fewer heads and less pipe than smaller rotors. Built for sports fields, large parks and council turf, with a non-strippable gear drive and a heavy-duty body meant for constant use. Commonly specified on recycled water schemes where the throw distance and the colour coding are both required.
