Technical support for Hunter Industries Products

Hunter Industries manufactures the products we sell, and they run their own technical support team. For anything to do with how a product works, how to program it, or why it isn’t behaving, they are the right people to ask and their support is free.

Hunter product support

Controllers, rotors, sprays, valves, sensors and everything else in the Hunter range.

  • Hunter Support Library — troubleshooting articles, how-to videos and diagrams written by Hunter’s technical team
  • Hunter Technical Support — email their technical team direct, or use the support chat
  • Owner’s manuals, installation instructions and spec sheets are in Hunter’s Literature Library, linked from the same page

Hydrawise support

For X2 with WAND, Pro-HC, HCC and anything else running the Hydrawise app: account problems, connectivity, app faults and scheduling.

Warranty

Hunter products carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims are assessed by Hunter Industries, not by us. If something you bought from us fails inside its warranty period, contact us with your order number and we’ll tell you how to lodge it.

For product operation, programming or fault-finding, you’ll get a faster and more authoritative answer from Hunter’s own technical team using the links above.

Choosing what to buy

Product selection is a different question, and our guides are written to answer it. Each covers the range, the differences between models, and what suits which application:

We do not provide individual product recommendations by email. What you need depends on your pressure, flow rate, layout and soil, and that is a design question rather than a product question — see below.

Orders, returns and warranty — customers of this site

For anything to do with a purchase, we can only assist customers who bought from HunterIrrigation.au:

  • Order status, shipping and delivery
  • Returns and exchanges
  • Warranty claims, which we lodge and manage with Hunter Industries on your behalf

If you bought elsewhere — another retailer, a hardware store, an online marketplace, or an overseas seller — your warranty and returns sit with that seller, and you will need to contact them. We have no access to their records and cannot lodge a claim on a sale we did not make. You are still welcome to ask us a product question.

What we do not provide

We supply product. We are not an installation company and we are not a design service. This applies equally to every customer, including our own.

Installation advice and on-site assistance. We do not talk customers through installations, diagnose faults in installed systems, or attend properties.

System design. Designing an irrigation system requires assessment of your property, water pressure, flow rate and soil. That has to be done on site by someone qualified to do it.

Troubleshooting installed systems. If a system is already in the ground and not performing, the person who installed it is the right place to start.

For installation, we recommend a licensed irrigation contractor. Hunter Industries publishes installation manuals and technical documentation for its full range at hunterindustries.com.

Installation disclaimer

Irrigation systems involve water under pressure, electrical connections and underground services. Incorrect installation can cause system failure, water damage, electrical hazards, and can void product warranties.

Hunter Irrigation supplies products only and is not responsible for installation errors, property damage arising from installation, warranties voided by incorrect installation, or performance issues resulting from DIY work. Any installation you carry out yourself is undertaken at your own risk.

Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

About us

Hunter Irrigation is an independent authorised dealer of Hunter Industries products, supplying DIY customers and trade professionals across Australia. We are not Hunter Industries, the manufacturer, and we are not an installer or a design consultancy.

What we are good at is the product itself. After three decades with this range there is not much about a Hunter controller or rotor we have not seen, and that knowledge is available to anyone who owns one.
